Yes it is true, I don’t always tell you just how much I love you. Just how much you mean to me and that I would be completely lost without you.

There was a time in my life when my very existence had little meaning. Where everyday was literally just sun up and sun down. I walked beside my life instead of with it. Then I met you and everything changed.

I know I am a better person for having met you. I know that my life would be meaningless without you. And I know that I don’t always tell you enough just how much I love you.

Let this gift be a reminder of my love for you, my devotion to you and a symbol of the truth of our being together.

You will never know just how precious you are to me. You were there for me when no one else was. You never abandoned me. You stayed with me until I regained my strength in myself and in others. You showed me that even though some days were cloudy, that the sun was still shining. You told me it was just beyond those heavy clouds. And if I really concentrated, I could see the good all around me even though at times it was just beyond my senses.

There will never be enough words to express to you my appreciation for all that you have done. Because of you I choose to be whole once again. To spread my wings and soar above the clouds. To be part of life and reawaken all of my senses. I now know that there really are angels amongst us and you are surely mine.

If I close my eyes real tight, I can still see you, just standing there, giving me that sweet smile of yours. You know the one. That incredible smile of yours, that melted my heart and captured my soul.

If I close my eyes real tight, I can remember what it was like kissing you for the first time. The way your soft lips lay against mine. I can still remember how tender your lips were as I brushed against them with loving anticipation

If I close my eyes real tight, I can still remember the first time I touched you. How the soft caress of your hands made my body ache for your very being. To be one with you.

If I close my eyes real tight, I can still remember the first time I said that I loved you. I can still smell the perfume in the air. I remember where we were, and what we did after.

If I close my eyes real tight I can imagine what it would be like to live the rest of my life with you. To go to bed with you in the evening and awake with you in the morning.

I love you and will forever.

Late at night I think of you. When I awake, the morning is new with all the promises a new day brings. I long to be with you, to touch you, to be the one you desire.

Say you will sail away with me, to that far off land, the one that holds the promises of today and the dreams of tomorrow.

There are no words to fully express just how instrumental you have been in my life.

When I was small you let me explore my new little world and all it had to offer. Although I felt free to be adventurous I knew you were keeping a close eye on me. Making sure I didn't get into harms way. You taught me right from wrong. I always felt protected and loved.

When I grew older you taught me how to be a good person, to look after myself and others. And yes, sometimes we didn't agree but somehow I knew that was OK too. I learned we could have differences yet still love one another.

On this Father's Day I wanted to let you know that I love you very much. And that you are such an important part of my life.

I am sending you this birthday greeting to let you know that even though I cannot be with you on your special day, that I am thinking about you and really wish I could be with you.

I have always felt that in this fast paced, hectic world we live in that if you manage to have just a few true friends you can count on that you are truly blessed.

That is the way I feel about you. I am so happy we are friends, and that we can share life's ups and downs together.

And so on your special day, just know I am thinking of you and hope you have a wonderful day of celebration.

Every day I am so thankful that I have found you. You make my life so complete. Late at night, when I am just about to go to sleep I think about where we began and how far we have come. How much we have grown independently and together as a couple.

I want every day to be joyful, loving and passionate and there is only one person that can join me in life's incredible journey.

I love you. Those three words are very special words to me. Before I met you I didn't truly understand what these words really meant. Those three words symbolize not only my love for you but my devotion and fidelity to the one and only person I have ever truly loved. And that is you.

Never have three words meant so much to me because they say what my heart already knows and what I feel deep in my soul.

Today, Tomorrow and Always

The day we met was the most important day in my life, and now it is just a memory. A fragment of what could have been. We needed one more day, one more chance to see this through. Please consider this as you go about life's journey. Consider what we had at the beginning and what evolved and what might have been if we had one more day.

One more day is all that we needed, all that I wanted and all that I dreamed of.

One more day and I would have been able to show you what love is all about.

One more day and I would have shown you I can do things differently, be what you need and what you desire.

One more day and time would have stood still to allow us to catch up to it so we didn't lose one minute of each other.

One more day and we would have looked into each others eyes and realized this is worth saving.

One more day and I could have said all the things I wasn't able to.

Like I love you, I need you and I don't want to lose you.

I didn't know I could, or if I ever would give my heart to another again. I lost my zest for living, my very essence of being, until I met you.

My heart had been hurt by another. I felt as if I could never trust anyone again. Something told me I should open myself up, if just in the smallest of ways to you.

I am glad I listened to that small inner voice. I never knew what true love was until I met you.

It took time and patience and a lot of love, but you never wavered. You have become my strength and my reason for loving again.

I saw this gift and I thought of you.

Although I have trouble sometimes adequately expressing my affection for you, it doesn't mean that I don't care or that I don't want to be near you because I do.

Perhaps, but I feel like a teenager again. All swept up in the moment and it feels great!

I cannot begin to thank you for all of the wonderful things you have done for me over the years. When I was small you wiped away my tears and celebrated my achievements.

You were always there, encouraging me to take my first steps, my first words and holding my hand and comforting me through my first mistakes.

As I grew you were still with me. Through school and all of its highs and lows. Through my teenage years you guided me through some difficult times. Sometimes I didn't want you there, but you let me know that was OK too. I needed to find my own way. But I knew you were never far behind. Looking out for me. Perhaps I didn't appreciate it then, I thought I knew it all. But you knew that too! And let me learn life's lessons.

You have taught me to be a better person, to give and not always take.

Now that I have grown I want you to know that all those "firsts", when you were there meant so much to me. I don't know how I would have been able to get where I am today without you.

The years have passed, and so many things have changed in our lives. But one thing remains constant, and that is my love for you.

Sure, we have had our highs and lows but if I had to do it all over again I would have only changed one thing. I would have married you sooner.

Every moment we have shared together we cultivated and nurtured our relationship. We have cherished special moments, and the future only holds a multitude of unopened doors for us to explore. And the realization that while we live a union of unconditional love every day, we are also creating a legacy of love for the people close to us to remember long after we are gone.

In this thing called "life" with all its ups and downs I never thought I would start as I began...

In wonder of all around me, with each new day an adventure.

These days I lay at night and smile in wonder of you

Sometimes I close my eyes and I try to recall each new step I took when I was young. I feel at peace, for now, those earliest of steps are revealed once again with each new step I take with you.

Remembering those summer days of long ago where playing, running and chasing butterflies, laughing at the silliest of things encircled my life.

And now here I am with you. Chasing life's new wonders with you, my new best friend.

Isn't it strange that just when I thought my zest for new adventures was over, that it really has just begun.

I thought I had all that I was allowed, all that life was going to give me.

I am so delighted I have started where I began. Everything seems new, exciting and wonderful.
